The South Forty Lodge offers several
different hunting/lodging packages. It is located on prime
hunting land south of Downs. The Glen Elder Wildlife Refuge
and public hunting areas border some of the land. There are
miles of excellent creek bottom land, and the combination of
native grass and agriculture makes this region ideal for
ring-necked pheasants. |

Since rains have returned to the parched
area, hunters will find excellent habitat conditions and
increasing numbers of birds. Quality cover, coupled with
